Notice – COVID-19 Office Changes

Please note the following program and office changes related to COVID-19 safety
(Updated May 1, 2020):

  • Fuel Assistance: Application deadline was May 29th.   For more information please visit http://selfhelpinc.org/fuel
  • Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Program–providing daily emails,  information and referrals, virtual activities, literacy bags.  Families can contact staff with any needs:  http://selfhelpcpc.org/
  • Food Bank/AttleboroNOW open as of 5/1/2020.  Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 1pm-4pm on a drop in basis.
  • Hand-In-Hand Senior Case Management – all home visits and face-face services are suspended until further notice.  We are still enrolling clients that are age 62+, through phone/email and zoom, and need help accessing additional community supports.  Please contact Annemarie Castro at acastro@selfhelpinc.org or call 508-588-0447 x1807
  • HEAD START – Closed until further notice.  Applications for the Fall 2020 can be done online at https://selfhelpinc.org/program-services/about-head-start/
  • ParentChild+ Program – This is a literacy based home visiting program for low-income and/or ESl families with children 18mth-3 yrs old.  All home visits are suspended until further notice.  We are still taking waitlist applications for the fall.  Please contact Gina McGarrigle at gmcgarrigle@selfhelpinc.org  or 508-559-1666 x1814
  • SNAP Application Assistance – We are able to take SNAP Applications over the phone.  Please contact snap@selfhelpinc.org  or call 508-588-0447 x1807

  • Weatherization/Conservation: these services are on hold until further notice
