Kitchen Aid

Assists the Head Cook and Prep Cook in preparation and distribution of outgoing Food for the Child feeding program, including diets for children with special needs, allergies and separate lunches in accordance with C.A.C.F.P guidelines and state and Federal regulations.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Working with Kitchen Staff on food preparation for preschool children.
• Delivery and pick up of meals and snacks and Kitchen Supplies.
• Dishwashing Cleaning of floors and counters and general kitchen duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum education-High School Diploma/GED.
• Preferred Three to Five years’ experience in Food Service.
• Knowledge of Food Allergies Preferred.
• Ability to take direction and multitask in a fast-pace large volume environment.
• Must be a team player, detail oriented and reliable.
• Heavy lifting required. Minimum 50 pounds
• Serve Safe certification is a plus.
