Parents requested that we try and take nighttime parent workshop topics and turn them into Parent-child activities.  CFCE is going to try and adapt this suggestion by offering “Switch-a-roo”!!!   This is now a parent-child activity – geared towards parents of preschoolers – that revolves around

GETTING YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN READY TO READ BY CREATING A LITERACY-RICH HOME!

During this time, parents and children will work & play together during activities, songs, movement, books,  and some art designs.  Other times parents will be hearing and sharing discussions about literacy, while their child is working on various related art projects  that are simple with instructions and/or using some manipulatives.

Parents will go home with a bag full of helpful ideas while children will go home with a bag full of great projects and activities they created!  FUN FOR ALL!!!
